skip to content -- home actuality painting about the painter drawing about contact painting drawing -- actuality – contact « as a designer, antoinette fleur scatters colored lines, using ballpoint pens to decorate the 4 corners of the windows in paris and capsule collections (undiz, nodus, camaïeu, ekyog…), t-shirts to scarves (longchamp…) magazine pages (gala, vogue…) web design and decoration. she is present at the happenings in shanghai for lancôme, cinderella 2.0 room paris fashion week… today antoinette fleur exceeds the sheet of paper and media support to tackle yet another larger dimension – the canvas, linen that is seen in the street or the one that hangs on your wall. the pen now gives way to the brush, where the gesture releases itself, and vibrates everywhere. nothing is static in her paintings, yet the composition remains clear and well balanced. she masters the phases and phrases of « paint » such as drip, stain, with wide sweeping gestures, grafitti or tag, fashion sketched silhouettes or sketches from live models, without it ever being messy. air flows through her paintings, it sparkles, and light surrounds and lightly coats her characters. because it is of course about a story, a poetry in which she gives our eyes the images to devour. there, circulate exotic birds and brightly colored orange cotton candy, or the dutch unicorn, cabaret dancers or smart young city dwellers in a splatter of paint. to spite yourself, surreptitiously, you freely slip into her canvas, numb by the explosive dynamics as you slide intoxicated by the music or the smile that develops slowly from eating a tart candy, tingling as it melts in your mouth. » béatrice vilain ………………………… « la peinture d’ en tant que dessinatrice, antoinette fleur a parsemé de traits de couleurs, façon stylo bille à 4 pointes des vitrines de paris et des collections capsules ( undiz, nodus, camaïeu, ekyog.. ) des tee-shirts au foulard ( longchamp…), des pages de magazine (gala, vogue…) et le web et la décoration. elle se déplace pour des happening à shanghai pour lancôme, le salon cendrillon 2.0 fashion week paris… aujourd’hui , antoinette fleur dépasse la feuille de papier et le support média pour s’attaquer à plus grand, une autre dimension – la toile, celle de lin que l’on pose dans la rue ou que l’on accroche à son mur. le stylo fait place à la brosse, le geste se libère, ça vibre de partout. rien n’est statique dans ses toiles et pourtant la composition est évidente, équilibrée. elle maîtrise les phases et les phrases « peinture » telles que coulure, tache, mais aussi geste large, grafitti ou tag, silhouette de mode ou croquis d’après modèle vivant sans que cela soit brouillon, jamais. l’air circule au travers de ses toiles, ça pétille, la lumière enrobe ses personnages. car il s’agit bien sûr d’une histoire, une poésie qu’elle nous donne à dévorer des yeux. là, circulent oiseau des îles et barbe à papa, métis orange vif ou néerlandaise à la licorne, danseuse de cabaret ou jeune citadine effrontée dans une éclaboussure de peinture. a ajouter que, malgré vous, subrepticement, si vous vous écoutiez, vous vous laisseriez bien glisser dans la toile, engourdir par cette dynamique explosive comme on se laisse glisser/griser par la musique ou lentement sourire par un bonbon qui pique et fond dans la bouche ! » béatrice vilain vilain.beatrice@hotmail.fr instagram drawing painting contact © 2018, site réalisé par kirocco
